By Jane Karanja | Project Coordinator.
After receiving heavy rainfall this year, which is still continuing the yields have also increased and we now have enough food for our families. The training provided on garden management has also contributed to the high production after practicing what we learnt. Although some crops has been affected by heavy rains we have more gains than losses and we are happy for the support provided. Beneficiaries also received tree seedling to plant in their farms for woodlots and also for environmental conservation and protection. As a result of heavy rains, the tree seedling are doing very well and soon they will be enjoying the “fruits of their labour”. Thank you for those opting to support us in one way or the other despite their own issues.
