Improve livelihoods of 225 HIV-Affected Families

By Lucy Mathenge | Project Manager

The progress in this project has been wonderful since we started.  It has been a very long journey for all of us including the beneficiaries who have remained strong and healthy throughout.  Our intervention has been a great support to many either directly or indirectly.  Good progress reports were received during our monitoring and evaluation mission.  It was great to hear testimonies from our beneficiaries, neighbors and friends who praised our work at large.  They could not forget to thank all supporters in this project for their great support to them.  They said if it was for this project, they could not be where they are and some could not have been alive they said.  The project has supported them in their farming activities, agribusiness and their businesses as well.  They said they are more empowered and they no longer fear their status.  They said they are free to interact with us where they have even been conducting sensitization trainings to those who feels inferior and those who still stigmatize the positive people in the society.  It was great to hear their positive stories which they freely shared with a lot of courage.  During our monitoring and evaluation missions, they also shared with us their challenges with them where will be helping in addressing some of them and referring them to other service providers for more support, guidance etc.  We have distributed some seeds, seedlings and planting materials to them in readiness for planting during this planting season.  Thank you so much for your kind contributions to this project
