Improve Livelihoods of 225 HIV-Affected Families

By Lucy Mathenge | Project Assistant

Our beneficiaries are fairing on well, their –progress is quite impressing and we are happy for every support channeled to them especially during these difficult moments as a result of covid 19 pandemic. Our encouragement to the HIV victims has played a big role ensuring they are all safe and observing protective measures as guided by the ministry of health. Many HIV positive patients feared going to the health facilities for their daily drugs and check ups when required. We have been checking on our beneficiaries and we ensured they had their daily drugs as we encouraged them to go for them in their usual health facilities. We are happy that they have been food secure during the pandemic although there have been many hardship facing many people and worse for the vulnerable groups. There have been plenty food in this region and our beneficiaries were busy in their farms. There have been plenty of rains this year hence making them busy working in their farms. Our beneficiaries have confidence with their activities and they have been good examples to many people. They work had in their farms as well as in their businesses for those into business. With this project they have become who they are and they have been sharing their success with others with similar conditions. On their behalf we appreciate all those who have made their status positive and successful and we request for further support to ensure they progress even further. Thank you very much for your contributions.
