We are very joyful to share with you the good news from this period at Ahava Home.
Moving Toward Reintegration
Some residents are entering a new stage: reintegration. Because of this, we created a life plan with them. They have already taken their first steps with outside education. The results have been very positive and, above all, they have gained confidence in making their own decisions. This motivates us deeply, as we desire for every resident at Ahava Home to reach this moment when they are ready.
Welcoming a New Resident
We also welcomed a new resident. We know that all care comes with challenges, but we trust we will see progress in her life, her legal process, and her health. It fills us with pride to see how warmly her peers received and integrated her.
Strengthening Education
The residents continue with their education. To strengthen this, a teacher joined us who has been key in the learning process of one of our youngest residents and others in the same stage.
Focus on Health & Wellness
Since January, the adult residents have been very motivated with their physical activity. We continue to encourage them because of the great benefits it brings to their physical and emotional health.
A Season of Growth
So far this year, there is a different atmosphere: challenges met in academics, legal matters, and life plans. And, as always, there were life celebrations — a beautiful gift for those of us who love celebrating the freedom they are beginning to experience.
With gratitude we say goodbye, wishing you to always be greatly blessed.
