Thank you for your support of Africa Schoolhouse. We are thrilled that our project has garnered the interest it has from members of Global Giving and cannot thank our supporters enough. We are busy at work renovating two classrooms at the school site that the District so kindly donated.
From there, we are excited to break ground on the new construction of Milembe Secondary, a school to support the education of girls in Misungwi District! As you know, this school will provide an essential safe space where girls can thrive and excel in their education.
Every Africa Schoolhouse project begins by digging a deep-water well. Water is critical to the health and well being at the school site and in the surrounding communities, so this is another aspect of the project we are currently working on.
Stay tuned as we look towards getting our school up and running in the next year!
