Thanks to donors like you, girls are thriving at the Milembe School dormitory compound. Girls have returned to campus and begin the new semester on January 17.
We are so proud of the Milembe students—they are now the second ranking school in Misungwi District. Head Teacher Florencia attributes the students’ successes to the new dormitory, where girls “feel safe and independent and have more time to focus on their studies rather than doing housework.” The Tanzanian government recognizes the potential for Milembe School and is funding six new classrooms!
For many girls in rural Tanzania, attending school is an unattainable goal. Living in safe space at the Milembe Secondary campus will enable at risk girls to complete school. Every girl who finishes her education helps end the cycle of poverty. Thank you for all of your support. We could not have done this without you! You are positively impacting so many lives!
