Good day,
This will be the final report for the Africa Ebola response. After the Ebola outbreak had been declared a Public Health Emergency, driven by the rare Bundibugyo strain, the virus hit the DRC and breached borders into Uganda, rapidly traveling along high-risk transport corridors and infecting many local people.
Action Change stepped in to help with the fragile local health systems which were compltely overwhelmed. Although we couldn't meet our fundraising goal for this project, everyone involved is incredibly grateful to the donors: every little counts and the $95 dollars is doing its work now, helping tackle the ebola crisis. Rest assured that Action Change - with all of our partner projects - continue to tackle global issues every day and we stay hopeful and focused on what difference we can make in the future.
