Dear Esteemed Donors,

For many years, the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has been providing essential support to Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan. These individuals, many awaiting resettlement through UNHCR, continue to face significant challenges. In response, CHCS remains committed to improving their lives through education, healthcare, and humanitarian assistance.

Education Initiatives: Language & Art Academy

Recognizing that language is key to integration and opportunity, CHCS established the Customs Health Care English Language & Art Academy for Afghan refugees. As of 2024:

43 Afghan students (men, women, and children) are enrolled in English classes.
A team of three dedicated teachers provides language training and cultural orientation to prepare them for life abroad.
The Art Academy, guided by a skilled instructor, engages 18 students in creative activities, fostering self-expression and emotional well-being.

Healthcare & Relief Efforts

In addition to education, CHCS regularly organizes medical camps offering free health check-ups, medicines, and food distribution. Special attention is given to children, with gifts and treats that bring smiles and relief in difficult times.

Looking Ahead

CHCS remains deeply committed to supporting Afghan refugees with sustainable programs that focus on dignity and empowerment. However, continued progress depends on your generous contributions.
