Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is very grateful to you for your kind support to the project Afghan Refugees living in Pakistan.
English Language and Art Academy for Afghan Refugees was established in Sector B-17 Islamabad. Customs Healthcare Society also arranged for Furniture and other necessary stuff, needed for Academy.
There is a huge number of Afghan Refugees, awaiting to be relocated in other countries, courtesy UNHCR. Learning the English language will enable them to be more productive in the countries of their future settlements. This Academy has classes for English language from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm for different age groups including male, females & children. More than 50 male and female students have successfully completed English language learning course from the academy being managed by CHCS.
Similarly, Art Academy has 8 students and there is one teacher who is teaching the student to learn art and painting. CHCS also arranges medical and relief camps for Afghan families in sector B17 Islamabad. These medical and relief camps provide medical support and relief to hundreds of patients in every medical camp.
The donors across the globe are requested to support CHCS for the project Afghan Refugees living in Pakistan.
