No CrIEPs!
Through Drive4Rebecca, we are creating a network of attorneys and advocates around the country that specialize in helping parents of children with special needs using the web site addresses, SpecialAttorneys.org and SpecialAdvocates.org.
Attorneys and Advocates donating $999 a year to Drive4Rebecca will be featured on SpecialAttorneys.org and SpecialAdvocates.org and individuals seeking referrals in their area will be directed to them.
We will help fund a number of free initial consultations through Drive4Rebecca and will help families raise money to help pay for these services.
For families that are not a good match in terms of their financial wherewithal to work with these paid advocates and attorneys, or in their ability to raise funds, we will ask members to refer them to local advocacy organizations like and share other online resources.
Regards,
Jon

Books to police depts. for sensitivity training
By Jonathan Singer | Founder, Drive4Rebecca
Thank you for your support of our project, Better lives for kids with special needs worldwide.
To continue to help parents of children and young adults with special needs, after meeting with our local police chief and donating copies of The Special Needs Parent Handbook, we have asked him to put us in touch with the appropriate state contact who is in charge of sensitivity training initiatives for New Jersey Police.
We are offering to donate copies of the book to every police department in the state to supplement their training and to be available as a resource for officers that have children with special needs or for anyone in the community that would like to access the book as an extension of the Advocacy4All Library Donation Program.
Our goal is to expand this to police departments around the country and we will report on our results.
Regards,
Jon

Ambassadors delivering books to new locations worldwide
By Jonathan Singer | Founder, Drive4Rebecca
We continue to receive requests from volunteers to deliver donated books to their local libraries.
Over the past few months, books have been sent to Florida, Indiana, Louisiana and a PDF version of the book has been sent to the Phillipines where it will be photocopied and distributed to local libraries.
We continue to give away the Kindle version through special free download promotions on Amazon to meet our mission of expanding access to the book for people unable to afford one and all proceeds from the sale of books continue to support our efforts for advocacy.
Thank you for your continued interest in helping make lives better for kids with special needs.
