Dear Patron, Namaste!
Warm Greetings from RSKS India......
As the morning sun spread its golden light across 15 villages, a remarkable wave of environmental action began. Organized by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India), the World Environment Day 2026 celebration brought together more than 700 community members, including children, youth, women, and elders. With enthusiasm and hope, participants planted fruit-bearing and shade-giving saplings, symbolizing a greener and healthier future for their communities.
The event went beyond tree plantation. Through engaging “My Selfie with Nature” and poster-making competitions, villagers creatively expressed their commitment to protecting the environment. A special workshop on “No Use Plastic” sparked meaningful discussions on reducing plastic waste and adopting eco-friendly alternatives. Participants pledged to make small but impactful changes in their daily lives, turning awareness into action.
Among them was 13-year-old Radha (Name Changed), who proudly planted a sapling and participated in the poster competition. “I learned that every tree is like a gift to the future, and saying no to plastic is a simple way to protect our planet,” she shared with a smile. Inspired by the event, Radha has promised to care for her sapling and encourage her friends and family to live more sustainably. Thanks to your support, seeds of environmental responsibility are growing alongside the trees planted that day.
