Adopt a Dream, Sponsor a Child

Dear Fundación Dones de Misericordia Supporters, 

We hope you, your family and friends are having a blessed start to this holiday season. As we enter the last month of the year, we begin to reflect on the impact we are having since the opening of our school. The children have made incredible progress during this last period. Your donations have been one of the main reasons we were able to make our dream of having a school come true. 

The team created a program that would provide the children with high quality education with the help of the resources available that strengthen reading, writing, research, self-learning, concentration,care and following of instructions for our first and second graders. Nutritious meals and snacks continue to be provided. We are proud to say that we accomplished exactly what we planned this year and we had our first graduating class! This opportunity has provided us with lots of experiences that will allow us to make next year even better. 

Our young leaders continue to facilitate the activities at El Kiosko de Los Dones on Saturdays, where kids from 0 to 13 and their families enjoy activities that promote healthy interactions with everything in their environment and hope to prevent negative interactions with others.

Lastly, our team is currently finishing the enrollment of next school year and we are excited to share more on that in our next GlobalGiving report! For now we wish you, your family, and loved ones a wonderful end of the year with lots of memories to cherish forever. Your commitment and monthly efforts through your donations will continue to help us expand our school and impact in Tierra Bomba!
