By Lucia Santana | Progress on "Youth for Gender Equality"
During the summer vacation period, we continued working directly within the communities, successfully conducting 18 educational sessions for 25 participants. These sessions addressed topics related to gender equality, promoting reflection, respect, and the development of more equitable relationships within the community.
With the beginning of the school term, we were able to continue the workshops previously implemented, conducting five sessions for students on the same gender equality topics. These actions reflect our commitment to continuing to strengthen learning and awareness spaces around gender equality, both within communities and in school settings. The continuity of these workshops has allowed us to expand the project’s reach and keep these topics present among adolescents and young people, contributing to the development of relationships based on respect, equity, and non-discrimination.
