Thank you for continuing to standing up with adolescent girls and young women in Khayelitsha, South Africa.
Your much needed support has help us to continue to offer a fun and stable environment for girls and young women. By providing opportunities to combine sports with educational sessions, we give girls the chance to learn about themselves, their bodies and their rights. Additionally, girls are able to develop their communication and goal setting skills, increasing their future employability.
Eventually, we hope to be able to establish a permanent field office, which will become a community hub for the girls and young women in Khayelitsha. In this space, girls will continue to enjoy and benefit from a safe, fun environment that actively works to promote girls’ self-esteem and confidence. With your support, girls can be equipped with the tools to empower themselves and as a consequence their local communities.
