Thank you for standing up with adolescent girls and young women in Khayelitsha, South Africa.
With your support we have been able to continue to offer a fun and stable environment for girls and young women. By providing opportunities to play sport with educational sessions, we give girls the chance to learn about themselves, their bodies and their rights. Additionally, through our life skills sessions, girls are able to develop their communication and goal setting skills, increasing their future employability.
With your continued support, we hope to be able to eventually establish a permanent field office, which will become a community hub for the girls and young women in Khayelitsha. In this space, girls will continue to enjoy and benefit from a safe, fun environment that actively works to promote girls’’ self-esteem and confidence. In this way, girls are equipped with the tools to empower themselves and as a consequence their local communities.
