Nääxwiin offered integral attention services to indigenous women that lives violence.
To attend violence issues is expensive, women have to move from their communities for denounce. But if they go alone to Public Ministry they do not listen to them, they are re-victimized, they are made to go round and round in circles and often do not get justice. For that reasons many women go to Nääxwiin to find some help for attending their violence problems. Here we offered psychological and legal support, translate service in indigenous languages and accompaniment until justice is done.
A woman that was attended in Nääxwiin in this period of time said to us:
“If I had not gone to CAMI, I would not have been able to follow up on my case of violence, because I have not money and the case was resolved because I had the support and accompaniment of the Nääxwiin colleagues.”
