When Don Pablo lost his audition one saturday morning, he thought he wouldn't be able to continue working and having a normal and happy life.
Three years ago, he lost his job because of this condition and since then he started knocking on doors to get a job or some kind of support. In September 2014 he got a job in the warehouse, but, because he did couldn't hear, he was at risk to be injured by the material and the loading machines. He was very close to losing his job.
Trying to find alternatives, he visited different educational institutions to learn computing, however, none of them could or wanted to accept him because he can't hear well.
When he arrived to one of Fundación Proacceso's centers, he thought the teachers were very kind to him and the center was very comfortable and beautiful. He thought he wasn't going to be able to afford it. When he knew about the scholarships program, he inmediatly signed up for the computing course.
He finished is course in October 2014 and in December of that year, he had already been promoted to the managing area of the company he was working for. His excellent performance and computing knowledge allowed him to gain the trust and respect of his superiors and colleagues.
Don Pablo is now very happy and grateful to Fundación Proacceso and everyone who participated in his life changing educational experience.
Thank YOU!
