This winter was one of the best in a while at Waypoint! Plenty of snow in New England brought endless cross country skiing and snowshoeing to Waypoint participants at the Weston Ski Track: https://www.instagram.com/p/DWU7IEjDelb/. We were even featured by local GBH news: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DU810LhCaOt/. In North Carolina our newest branch continues to flourish and grow! This year Waypoint expects running more than 75 programs in Western North Carolina. Check out Anna’s story of strength and achievement in NC: https://nc.waypointadventure.org/annas-story-of-i-can/.
We are also excited to welcome several new board members to the Waypoint team. They bring a wealth of diverse professional experience and personal perspectives to our team. Check out their stories here: https://ma.waypointadventure.org/new-board-members/.
Finally, we are thrilled to be gearing up our Official Waypoint Marathon Team to make our debut at the 2026 Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. As a testament to all that Waypoint has achieved over the last 15 years, 2026 will be our first year as an official charity partner of the Boston Athletic Association.
Racing this year for Waypoint’s Official Marathon Team will be four (4) racers who all have their own close connection to the Waypoint community and unique personal passion for our mission. They have been preparing hard to represent the whole Waypoint community in the iconic Boston Marathon on April 20, 2026. You can learn more about each of our runners and support our team and mission here: https://ma.waypointadventure.org/bostonmarathon/.
