Thank you as always for your warm support. In this report, we would like to share an update on our ongoing water supply assistance in the Gaza Strip.
Implementation of Water Supply Assistance
In addition to our long-term efforts to build a new peace process, we are providing emergency humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza who are currently taking refuge. As seen in the photos, severe structural destruction has destroyed local wells, making our life-saving water distribution efforts critical and continuous. Based on ground-level needs, we selected 5 particularly underserved camps and are providing assistance to approximately 1,400 households.
"While we are managing to deliver water, the situation is dire. Soon, the little food we have left will run out. This year, celebrating Ramadan or Eid was completely out of the question," shared one of our local staff members.
