Every year end evokes mixed feelings, while we feel disheartened and alarmed at the thought of another year having flown past so quickly, we also feel contented at the achievements and progress made during the year.
Out of blues, we had volunteer teacher trainees joining us in the classrooms to support our children. Their solid presence helped to give personalized attention to children that needed it more. Kevin Boylen, an American native has offered to aid Abundance School through online fundraising. His first campaign, 'Soma Soma' ('Read Read'), is set to run from Nov.21 through Christmas. This campaign seek to boost our Abundance School pupils over the Holidays by giving them a school bag full of school supplies. This will provide each pupil with a sturdy canvas school bag, locally produced in Kenya, and a full set of school supplies for the new school year. You can read more about it here.
Kevin's next campaign, beginning next year, will seek to raise funds for the Tiba Africa Foundation for construction of a new school. thank you for your continued support to our cause.
