The Board Members of TIBA AFRICA FOUNDATION together with the Management Team of Abundance School met and made the following resolutions.

1. The campaign of USD 9863 for Abundance School is still on. So far, the project has raised USD 1863 out of USD   9863 target.

2. The available amount of USD 1863 to be spent on the most urgent and important items on the list as follow:

2.1. Clear Stagnant Water Around the Classrooms.
Due to heavy rains, there has been stagnant water around the classrooms. This water is dirty, smells and mixes with poorly disposed /decomposing waste material. It is dirty, muddy and inhabits mosquito. It is risky for children to play from. Members agreed to drain water by making an arrow that allows water to flow away easily.

2.2. Repair the Classroom Floor
The damaged floor is full of pothole. It is risky to children’s mobility. Difficult to clean and is vulnerable to especially during hot and dry seasons, it gets inhabited by jiggers. Members agreed to have it reconstructed i.e. cemented by cement and sand.

2.3. Partitioning and Painting of Classroom.
Learning for all different levels is done in one open hall. Children get distracted by other classes learning activities .Members agreed to have movable partitions made in class to curb visual distractions. These partitions will also be used as illustration boards for different learning levels. It was also agreed that both interior and exterior would be painted.

2.4. Replace some Teaching and Learning Books
Some of our teaching and reference book are worn out others are lost and others have been phased out by the Ministry of Education. Member agreed to have these books replaced to keep learning relevant to current syllabus requirement and interesting to teachers and children.

2.5. Hire an Assistant Teacher
Members agreed to hire an assistant teacher should there be some funds left after all of the above.
NOTE: Members agreed to do their best to ensure that the amount of money available is spent wisely in the common interest of the children.
