SSK is headed by a highly qualified Principal since February 2018. He has taught for more than a decade abroad and till last year, was the Principal of a leading school in Hyderabad. He is a quality Maths teacher. To supervise the administrative side of the residential school, a retired Captain of the Indian Army has been appointed as the Chief Administrator. He had an outstanding record in the Army and is now a resident CA. The school’s English faculty has been strengthened with the recruitment of one highly experienced teacher from Kolkata. The school currently has a volunteer for the United States who shall remain in the school till May this year.

The half-yearly school examinations were held in December, 2018. The class average with regard to the performance of the students from UKG to class XII was well over 60%. There are presently over 450 students in the school drawn from remote villages of various districts of Bihar. 100 young children will be admitted in March / April this year. Teachers shall be sent to villages of all the districts of Bihar to recruit students in the UKG class from different musaharies or musahar settlements.

In the field of extracurricular activities the students of the school have performed extremely well. An interschool ‘sit and paint’ painting competition was organized by St. Xavier’s School, Patna, in September 2018. One thousand five hundred students from all major schools of the city participated. 20 students of Shoshit Samadhan Kendra took part in the senior and junior category. A SSK student got the 3rd prize in the senior category. The sports activities in the school have been widely covered in press and the Star Sports TV channel. Students of the school won Patna district inter-school volley ball championship and were a quarter-finalist in the badminton championship. A student of the school was selected to participate in the under-16 state championship. Two students of the school were selected to participate in under – 14 Bihar State Hockey team. The school kabbadi team reached the quarter finals in Pro-Kabbadi inter-school championship. The match was telecast live by Star Sports TV channel. The school and its activities were covered widely in the press. Dainik Jagran carried a one-page article on Shoshit Samadhan Kendra on November 04, 2018, in all its editions published in the country.

The Republic Day was celebrated in the school. The students did a march past after the flag hoisting and displayed their skill in Karate and Yoga.
