Every day, Ukraine is subjected to shelling. Animals suffer just as much as people do. The shelter is trying to rescue animals from combat zones, provide them with shelter, house them in enclosures and create safe living conditions for them at the shelter until they can be rehomed with families. That is why we are trying to build safe enclosures, replacing the old ones with new ones. The old enclosures were severely damaged during the occupation, and now, during shelling, the animals try to leave their enclosures and run away, so they tear the netting, dig their way out and injure themselves; therefore, we desperately need new enclosures.
With the help of caring donors, we can build these enclosures. We are grateful to everyone who helps us, but building enclosures is very expensive, and the shelter does not have the funds for this, so we are trying to raise money as best we can. One enclosure costs $1,000, which is a high price for a shelter housing 3,000 rescued animals. But one enclosure provides a safe haven for 3–4 dogs that survived in combat zones and were brought here by the military and volunteers. Thanks to donors who have made donations, we have been able to purchase 8 cubic meters of boards. We were able to dismantle the old enclosures and start building a new one. So you could help 3-4 dogs, building an enclosure. We hope that you will be able to support us and that our dogs will be able to find a safe place to live. We are grateful for your donation.
