Our ptoject , a maternity unimt to save 2,300 lives in Burundi, has started with big enthusiasm and positive energy among our staff and the community we serve. We have been able to set plans, raise foundation and build walls of the first pavilion of our maternity unit. The community has been supportive and contributed through manual work and serving as brick layers' helper. Their enthusiasm and optimism were encouraging and let us feel the importance of makindg sure they have a free space where every mother and child have an opportunity to be healthy and thrive.
What brings us more joy and continue to give us hope is the knowledge the community we serve is on our side and is ready to set up and make their contribution to make a difference. They are the reason why The Village Microclinic exists. Thanks for your continued support.
