Dear Donors,
Happy New Year! We can’t believe it has been three years since A Life A Time Foundation first participated on the GlobalGiving platform in 2014. During that time, thanks to the 785 donations from 526 generous donors, A Life A Time has received a total of $44,998 on GlobalGiving, and we are only 10% below our current $50,000 goal.
During 2017, A Life A Time received total donations of $85,800 (including donations through the GlobalGiving Platform). Together with donations from prior years, we spent $126,000 to help 60 children and two foster homes in China.
As you may know, we have three funds: Emergency Fund, Chocolate Box Fund and Boston Trauma Fund. Of the 60 children we helped in 2017, 35 were financed from the Emergency Fund, 12 from the Chocolate Box Fund, and seven from the Boston Trauma Fund, with the remaining six children receiving donations designated by donors.
Since our establishment in 2008, A Life A Time has been helping orphaned and impoverished children in China suffering from congenital illnesses and traumatic injuries, such as burns. With ongoing support from donors such as you on the GlobalGiving platform, we will be able to continue our mission. We appreciate that GlobalGiving has provided us access to its platform, which has allowed us to connect to even more donors. Given our success thus far, we are increasing our target on GlobalGiving from $50,000 to $75,000 to support our ongoing work. With this new objective, please continue to follow our progress and share news of our efforts. We will continue to appreciate all the support we receive in 2018, and to those considering making a donation we know we will be able to put your generosity to good use.
Sincerely,
A Life A Time Foundation
