Thank you to all of the supporters that donated to our efforts in providing the opportunity to give 25 children in Asia the ability to walk.
We could not have achieved this mission without you!
Since the end of the GlobalGiving challenge, we have treated 20 children in Asia, 10 in Cambodia and 10 in Bangladesh. Treatment included five surgeries, five orthotic braces, two prosthetic limbs, three clubfoot corrections as well as providing rehabilitation to all patients.
Children are referred to our program by our implementation partners in the field. We evaluate their condition and deliver the appropriate treatment needed. We fully cover all costs relating to the treatment and rehabilitation of each child. Our goal is to provide high-quality continuous care until the age of 18 for children treated under our program. We also teach medical professionals in our program countries innovative othopedic surgical techniques, prosthetic design and rehabilitation-practices to help bridge the gap in medical care between the developed and developing worlds.
As we continue to receive your support, we will be able to treat the remaining five children, providing them with the keys for a better future.
Again, we cannot thank you enough for your love and support in helping children with limb disabilities in the developing world walk.
