Dear donor and friend, this story is about love that lasts forever. Juana one day appeared in the patio of a humble family, who already had a couple of cats and dogs to feed. Besides, she was pregnant and the family asked for help. Luckily, a befriended vet offered to foster her, so that she and her unborn kittens could be safe. Soon they noticed, what a sweet cat Juana was and decided to adopt her. Juana gave birth to five beautiful kittens, and was the best mom ever, loving and caring. When the time came for them to cut off the invisible umbilical cord, they all found wonderful purrever homes and Juana finally could begin her own life. Her family adored her and was so devastated, when some day Juana simply disappeared. She was gone, lost!! She must accidently have opened the window and jumped out, without knowing how to survive in the streets, avoid cars and other enemies. Her family went out every night, calling her, looking for her. They left flyers everywhere, even contacted an animal communicator, but Juana remained invisible. Then one day, after two long months of despair, tears and growing hopelessness, someone called “we found your cat”!! We couldn’t believe it, but it was her!!! She was found in a residential zone, very close to her home, had lost a lot of weight and needed medical treatment, but she was home at last!!! Sadly, that was not the happy end we wanted for her, because due to her starving, she contracted hepatic lipidosis and lately passed away, surrounded by her beloved family. Most definitely, we will never forget her, and her spirit lives on in her five kittens and in our hearts.
