Mann Deshi Foundation's Healthcare for All programme is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility and affordability in rural Maharashtra. Centered around Mann Deshi's Community Healthcare Centre in the remote village of Mhaswad, the initiative extends its services through a free ambulance service and community health camps, emphasizing both curative and preventive healthcare.
Rukmini’s Experience with Mann Deshi’s Community Health Camp:
Rukmini’s story vividly illustrates the positive impact of Mann Deshi's community health camps. Previously burdened with expenses totaling INR. 2000 for travel, doctor's fees, and medication for one visit to the doctor, Rukmini now expresses gratitude as the expenses are reduced to a mere INR 500. And, she doesn't even have to go to the doctor. The doctor comes to her instead! This testimonial highlights how Mann Deshi's initiative makes healthcare more accessible and affordable, particularly for individuals like Rukmini who are in need.
