Over the past few months, alongside developmental activities, training sessions, and meetings with a psychologist, our young people have also taken part in many creative art activities. The warm season and the beauty of nature have been a wonderful source of inspiration for creativity.
Throughout the spring and summer, our young people regularly attended painting classes led by a professional artist. These sessions provided a great opportunity not only to learn new artistic techniques but also to spend time together, connect with one another, and discover their own talents. The series of artworks grew out of conversations about the city—how the artists move through its streets, what they notice along the way, and which places make them feel safe. This became the foundation for the exhibition project Simple | Not So Simple Journey, dedicated to the city as a space of personal experience.
Each participant created original artworks that reflected their emotions, observations, and unique perspective on the world around them. The creative journey concluded with an exhibition at the Lviv Municipal Art Center, where the young artists presented their works to a wide audience. For many, it was their first experience of participating in a real art exhibition, giving them joyful memories, greater self-confidence, and inspiration to continue creating. Once again, this project demonstrated that art is a powerful way to express oneself, develop new skills, and build meaningful connections with the community.
Thank you for supporting our organization and for making it possible for these young people to express their creativity, develop their talents, and feel valued and included.
