Hello GlobalGiving Donors and Partners!
The whole staff of Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. in the Philippines extend our deep gratitude for making our Haiyan matching campaign a very successful one. Our project entitled CHILD DAY CARE CENTERS FOR 100 HAIYAN VICTIMS is on top of the list among the 34 projects included in the matching campaign of GlobalGiving. It has generated a total of $39,000.00 US Dollars of matching fund. And this happened because of your continued support and believing in our cause.
The main intention of this project is to build at least 3 day care centers in Haiyan affected areas in the Philippines that will impact to at least 100 young kids in the community who will be given the opportunity to continue the physical and mental exercise in preparation for a formal schooling. Through your donation, we will be able to extend the benefits of day care centers to more number of young kids in the communities needing such help.
We are happy to inform you that last month, GlobalGiving senior staff visited our projects in Tacloban City (Philippines). As we all know that Tacloban City was impacted with severe destructions caused by typhoon Haiyan. As of this period relief efforts are still going, now more on long term approach. GlobalGiving was happy of our performance. And we thank them for continue supporting us for the relief assistance that we have been doing to Haiyan victims. Equally important you our dear donors who believed in our cause. We know that you would have spent your penny to other personal intents but you chose to invest the amount to Haiyan victims because you believed it’s worthy for it.
Once again, thank you so much.
