Send girls in Kenya at risk to FGM to school
In Wamba and Marsabit Counties in Kenya, we are supporting girls at risk to child marriage and FGM with full scholarships to attend secondary school, including room and board, so they can fulfill their potential. We provide the girls with life skills training, reproductive health education, and training on convincing her family and peers to give up the harmful traditional practices. We also support girls with "dignity kits" - a backpack filled with essentials such as sanitary pads, towels, soap, a toothbrush and other items that allow them to feel their best at school.
