During this season of giving, Nurx would like to provide much needed aid to those impacted by the recent Northern California Fires that resulted in 88 deaths and thousands being displaced due to the mass devastation and loss of thousands of homes and businesses, not to mention the loss of wildlife and personal pets.

In our efforts to give back during this Holiday Season, Nurx is sponsoring a fundraiser in partnership with Global Giving for the North Valley Community Foundation.  This foundation is providing aid to those directly impacted by the fires. Nurx is setting a goal of $3,000 for employees with a company matching donation of $1 for every $1 raised.  If we exceed our $3K  goal, Nurx will contribute an extra $1,000!

Funds raised will be utilized for immediate relief efforts.  More specifically, the evacuation centers - These centers are very often not prepared to handle the massive influx of people but do it anyway. Their immediate funding priorities are to make sure they have whatever they need to continue providing these vital services. These needs include portable toilets, portable showers, blankets, energy and water costs, and countless other needs.  Once the immediate needs begin to get met and they move out of a crisis situation, the funds will transition to supporting long-term recovery efforts.
