I am a Rohingya refugee student in Malaysia working full-time while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication. As the first woman in my family to reach higher education, I hope to create a better future for my aging parents, who currently have no income, and inspire other refugee girls to believe in their potential. Your support will help me continue my education and become someone who can give back to my family and community.
This project will help me stay in university and complete my degree without having to give up my education due to financial hardship. The impact extends beyond one student and it represents hope for my family and serves as an example to other refugee girls that higher education is possible despite difficult circumstances. By investing in my education today, donors will help create opportunities for me to support my parents, build a stable career, and give back to my community in the future.
This microproject will provide financial support for my upcoming tuition fees and allowing me to continue my Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication while working full-time. By reducing the financial burden on my family, it will help me stay enrolled, complete my studies, and graduate successfully. Earning my degree will give me the opportunity to secure stable employment, support my aging parents, and use my education to contribute positively to the Rohingya refugee community.
As the first woman in my family to pursue higher education, I hope to inspire other Rohingya refugee girls to continue their education and believe in their potential. The long-term impact begins with one student but can positively influence one family and many others in my community.
