Janet is making progress but could be better. The aunt, Janet’s only family member, is struggling to help her. Her aunt held a fundraiser in Kenya and raised a little money. The National Health Insurance Fund managed to pay much of her medical expenses, but certainly not all. Janet is currently in a general ward waiting for funds to continue medical treatment. For Janet to get immediate medical attention the hospital requires $3,000.
After hearing her story, a physiotherapist has been visiting Janet and has helped her gain sensation in her limbs. She is now able to lift and turn her left hand. This is remarkable news and we hope that more people can help Janet get her life back! Please consider continuing to support this young girl survive such a tragic accident.
Every donation counts.
Asante.
