By Tyler Zeman | Development Manager, JA of Arizona
Last school year, Junior Achievement of Arizona (JA) reached 2,194 students through our hands-on personal finance simulation, JA Finance Park. Upon their arrival to the simulation, students were immersed in a variety of financial literacy activities and scenarios, and developed and managed their own personal budgets while exploring the free enterprise system.
Thanks to donors like you, Arizona students will be given a sense of empowerment and control over their future lives as self-sufficient adults. Your financial contribution has collectively funded and delivered the JA Finance Park curriculum, enriching the education of Arizona youth. On behalf of the organization, we cannot express our gratitude enough for your generous gift, as our organization anticipates reaching 3,320 students through the JA Finance Park program this school year.
By providing Arizona students with an economic education program, you have given them a pathway to a successful future by instilling confidence in their abilities to manage their finances, while providing them a foundation of understanding the long-term benefits of money management. At a cost of $18.00 per student, Junior Achievement of Arizona was able to reach 273 Arizona students (approximately 10 classes) via this microproject. JA wishes to thank you for your charitable gift and believing in the boundless potential of our youth.
