Incredible Progress on New Drinking Water Basins

We are so proud of the amount of work that has been accomplished due to the support and care from you! Without your donations this critical project would not have started. The date in photos is May 4, 2021, they completed half in last week, then horrible rains came and in the moment are waiting to have the concrete dry again. Work will be finished in coming weeks, of course weather pending!

We have 20 basins planned for the animals at the Taiz Zoo, Yemen. These are critical for their health and the safety of the employees. Not only with they take great steps in preventing algae and bacteria growth, the employees can easier clean with drain valves and new locations that are easier for them to access.

We have pictures of the old tin metal cans, to the middle stages of the concrete (literally) drying and now the blue ceramic coating!  Why blue you ask yourself? The Yemeni people love their bright colors in life, this brings a bit of happiness and color to a country torn apart by war. These colors were chosen by the zoo, this is for the people!

We are so proud of the progress, and thank-you for your gererous donations and support. Please enjoy the photos and thank-you!
