This project will enable us to continue supporting our volunteers and provide them with operational cost so that our agro-reforestation and livelihood development project will be enhanced and be able to reach-out to more beneficiaries and more villages.
We have a problem of maintaining project gains as well as expanding to more villages with our trademark agro-reforestation and small livelihood projects because we have difficulty supporting the needs of our volunteers especially in terms of transportation and logistics, honoraria and fuel expenses. With your support, we can solve this and implement the best way we can our trademark solution to the problems caused by changing climate.
With your support we will be able to continue and expand our agro-reforestation and livelihood development initiatives among poor women and their families. Volunteers come from the ranks of community leaders and they are effective in promoting community development being from the community and know local culture.
Women are most often not recognized and not given attention in community building and this is the case in promoting the improvement of their farms and their communities. We will change this mind-set by directly engaging them so they are recognized as active actors in their own communities.
