You made this happen! We would like to thank all of you who supported Virtues Project Sri Lanka. Our goal was to raise funds to supply virtues materials and audio visual equipment to Good Shepard Convent School in Kotahena Columbo 13. Thanks to you, our generous donors, we were able to ship a variety of virtues products from the US, and wire the additional money for the school to select and purchase the audio visual equipment needed.
Sr Thomas Aquinas, our school liasion, shared that with these new virtues cards, posters, books and the equipment, she hopes to expand the number of students that receive The Virtues Project education to include primary students. Her school serves 2000 students, year 1-13. She has been promoting virtues through her Life Education Classes, positively influencing adolescent relationships at home, school and in the community, for several years. She also provides virtues education in her parenting classes, including parents of many different faiths. She wants to help all of her students grow to be responsible, caring adults who make positive contributions to society.
The Virtues Project promotes peace and unity in the world through the awakening and practice of our shared virtues. The Five Strategies of The Virtues Project create cultures of caring and respect in our homes, schools and communities. Thanks to your generosity and charitable contribution, these children will grow their virtues and bring out the best in those whose lives they touch!
