Valentine's Outreach 2023

Thank you for your generous support of our Valentine’s Day Outreach. Through your help and the help of many others we were able to distribute 800 Valentine Gift Bags and roses to the bargirls in Pattaya on Valentine’s Day. We had a group of 40+ Volunteers on this day and started in the morning with packing all the bags. After that we had a briefing and in the evening we went out and distributed the bags. Many of the women were surprised, happy, first a bit confused why we were distributing gifts, but we had many good conversations and got a number of invitations to visit the women in the bars again.

Part of the bag was an invitation to come and join a Tamar Party in a local Hotel. We had that party on the 16^th and 43 women showed up. At the party we had good food, games, music, testimonies from women that were able to leave the bars and we also shared about the Tamar vocational Training that we started in the next week. It was a great day, with lots of laughter and many smiles. We are happy to report that seven women decided to join the training and have now left the bars and are now participating in the Tamar vocational and life training. This week they are learning hairdressing and they enjoy their time. Please have a look at the pictures below from the different events!

Thank you for making this outreach possible and I hope that you are as encouraged as we are by the outcome of the Outreach. When we visit the girls we still see many using our bags and they are happy to talk to us about the gifts and many relationships have been formed!
