Thanks to you, much needed repairs and maintenance have begun at the Centre!
A new hood and vent was installed making the kitchen safer for the cook and volunteer helpers. THANK YOU!
To address security concerns, the walls of the Centre are being built higher, with a layer of broken glass cemeted to the top to deter thieves. Thiis work will be completed by this summer. THANK YOU!
As we continue to raise funds, we will address the other items on the list, such as the electrical wiring issues, the damaged ceiling and wall issues, the upgrades to the bathroom including installing doors on the toilet stalls, and other minor repairs and maintenace.
In July Matt and Lydia Hill will be visiting Bolivia, and will see these repairs first hand. Follow our Bolivia daily blog on Facebook July 14 to 22, 2022!
Thank you for your support for the children at the Tahuantinsuyo community centre! Thanks to you, the children will be more comfortable and safe at the Centre, and that is what matters most.
Stay well.
