Here is the update on the repairs campaign, which is now retired from GlobalGiving. If you would like to continue to help, please donate through the main project page!
This Fall the electricity upgrades and repairs were completed, making the Centre that much safer for the children. Some of the rooms have no windows, so adequate lighting is important! THANK YOU for enabling these repairs and upgrades to be done!
The children are getting ready for summer break, which takes place In December and January. The Tahuantinsuyo Community Centre will close for 6 weeks as families often travel back to their rural communities to help with agriculture or just visiting. The Saturday afternoon program in Villa Ingenio will also take a break over the summer.
