Thank you for contributing to Retrak's microproject "Buy Medical Supplies for Tudabujja's Clinic". I'm happy to report that this microproject has been fully funded! Thanks to your support, Retrak's medical clinic is fully stocked and we are able to give medical care to any child who comes through Tudabujja's doors on their way to a better life.
Each year around 90 children stay at Tudabujja, Retrak's Halfway Home and Farm on the outskirts of Kampala. Living in cottages with 7 other children and a house parent, they escape the mean streets of the city and live in a family setting. They go to school, play sports, and learn how to work on the farm. All of this is done to prepare them to return to a family, either their own family or a foster family. Our model is extremely effective as the vast majority of children who are resettled by Retrak remain with their families.
Ibrahim, a 15-year-old boy at Tudabujja said it best: "I am grateful for the teaching, food and skills that I have learned at Tudabujja." We at Retrak are also grateful, for supporters like you.
