We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Women whether rural of urban, even being educated, are restricted to household chores due to lack of skill and it forces them to face many problems in their life. There are several opportunities to make women self-reliant and sewing is one of them. Sewing is an art and every woman has this art to some extent. The only requirement is to refine the art. It is an art which a woman can perform and earn through it at its place along with looking after the family.
In this order, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, provided sewing training to a woman. During the 5-monts sewing training, she learn to sew many costumes as salwar suit, frock, capri, patiyala suit, lehnga, Rajasthani costume, blouse, etc. She is very happy to learn all of these stuffs. She had dream to be a fashion designer so she got training with dedication. Our activists met her at times and solve her problems which brought her morale.
Now, she is busy with her self-employment after got the training and earning by sewing clothes for local women. She told our activist that she was becoming self-reliant and no more depend financially on anyone. She has bought a new machine which increased the efficiency of her work. Now she has become SELF employed and she can run it from home. She thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation heartly.
