Thank you for your support to help fund Haitian students and provide the opportunity for them to study towards an academic degree.
UoPeople’s efforts in Haiti continue – University President Reshef was recently in Haiti to announce the opening of 150 additional scholarships for Haitian students. This is possible due to the support of generous individuals such as you. Students study at computer centers throughout Haiti and are provided financial assistance to complete an Associate degree.
University of the People was created with a very clear mission: to open the gates of higher education, for ALL individuals worldwide, regardless of financial, social or geographic constraints. It is our belief that higher education is a right for all, and not a privilege for a few.
We have succeeded in cutting down almost the entire cost of higher education with our innovative online tuition-free education model. All we ask from our students are minimal Exam Processing Fees. For students unable to afford even these nominal fees, we create a variety of scholarship and donation opportunities, such as this one, to help fund their studies.
