Thank you friends for helping Vani continue her studies inspite of hailing from a poor family and losing her mother when she was 9.
Her father is working as a watchman and is not in a position to support her. Through the help of local community leaders, Vani joined Sphoorti in 2013. Through discipline and hard work, she was able to complete High School and Intermediate with an aggregate score of more than 85%. She then joined Engineering and is in her final year.
We have raised a total of $1200 for Vani from GlobalGiving and other sources.
We have spent 25% on tuition fee and College related fees/expenses while 65% was spent on food, clothing and transportation. The remaining 10% will be spent on online courses and attending webinars/seminars.
