This micro-project will change the life of a semi-orphan girl Pravalika by providing her education in one of the best educational institutions in Hyderabad. It will give her a great opportunity to pursue career of her dreams. She is in the final year of her program. She is aspiring to be a Data Scientist after completion of her course.
This project solves the problem of poverty and ignorance for Pravalika. After losing her mother, Pravalika's father disowned her. Her relatives wanted to marry her off at a young age and get rid of her responsibility. With your support, she was able to complete 3rd year of Engineering. The project makes sure Pravalika will never be a victim of early marriage, trafficking or any heinous crimes.
By providing Undergraduate education (BTech Electronics) along with providing education material support, computer, library access, shoes, required material to study well, the project makes it possible for Pravalika to complete Bachelors in Engineering and look forward to a good job or higher studies. Her success story can inspire more girls to think big.
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
