Sneha hails from Kalluru village, Khammam. Her father is a rod bending worker while mother is an Anganwadi laborer. With a lot of hard work, she completed her High School with a GPA of 10 and Intermediate with an aggregate of 94%. Last year she got admission in MBBS in Govt Medical College - Mulugu. Your generosity will give her a golden opportunity to pursue a career in medicine. We request you to support her Tuition, hostel and travel expenses for a year.
This project solves the problem of poverty and ignorance for one poor student. Without your support, she may be compelled to studies and end up unemployed or unskilled all her life. Higher education will ensure that Sneha becomes a qualified Doctor. She may also be forced to marry early by her family if her studies do not go any further
By sponsoring Undergraduate education (MBBS) along with living expenses, travel expenses, computer, library access, shoes, required material to study well, the project makes it possible for Sneha to complete MBBS and look forward to a good career or higher studies. Her success story can inspire more underprivileged children to think big. This is her second year of MBBS. Your support for the next four years will help us produce a medical professional who will serve the rural poor.
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
