Thank you so much for donating to support our project. We really appreciate your support and prays that you'll be continually blessed in all your endeavors.
Though we were not able to visit an orthopedic doctor concerning this issue, because of the amount of money that this project received, we visited a general practitioner at Glory Hospital Nnewi.
Initially, we visited an orthopedic hospital in Nnewi-Anambra State, to make inquiries about registration and we were told that the registration is about $15 and we don't know how much they will still charge us for drugs after registering and seeing the doctor and because of this, we decided to forget about going there.
It is as a result of this high cost of visiting orthopedic hospitals and the amount of money that this project received, that we decided to visit a general practitioner, who advised that the palms be soaked in warm water for two weeks, after which we should come back to see him, that it's not something we should continue taking medications for now.
Mr Darlington has taken lots of medications as a result of his previous meetings and phone communications with other doctors and the drugs include diclofenac, arthocare, chymoral, allopurinol etc. Amoksiklav 1000mg by lek and dexamethasone 1mg (xasten) was recently prescribed for him by another doctor. We have been able to buy the dexamethasone but haven't seen 1000mg of amoksiklav, though we're still looking for it as he was told to take it alongside the dexamethasone.
As this microproject has been retired and won't be able to continue receiving donations, we've recreated this project in order to continue fundraising and help Mr Darlington to be properly treated.
