Your donations will be used to ensure adequate and balanced nutrition for 100 children from 0 to 5 years old. The children assisted in the project face malnutrition and with your help will raise the funds to give them 4 meals a day and purchase basic kitchen utensils for the new development center for children. How a child eats today will have a noticeable impact on their health during adolescence and adulthood.
Malnutrition has a negative impact on children's health and on their capacity to learn. Poor nutrition can cause short stature and late puberty, nutrient deficiencies and dehydration, poor bone health, increased risk of injuries, poor academic performance and increased risk of eating disorders.
The new development center will provide education, nutritious meals, and snacks. Providing education and nutritious meals to these kids will encourage their parents to send them to school regularly. Meals include rice, vegetables, fresh fruits and proteins. Good nutrition throughout childhood will lay the foundation for a healthier more fulfilling life.
With routine meals, the children's level of nutrition will improve, their well-being will increase, and their concentration and learning will be advanced. Our intervention in these children's nutrition during their early periods of growth is crucial to these kids' long-term achievements. A positive change in these children's nutrition now will have ripple effects not only in their educational attainment, but also in the career they one day hold, and the communities where they live.
