This microproject will support 20 patients across some of the hospitals in Anambra State, to pay their hospital bills. Many people are sick and in the hospitals, hoping for people to come to their rescue. More than 70% of the Nigerian population, still pay out-of-pocket for healthcare, as they're not enrolled in the National Health Insurance Scheme and this makes some families and individuals to incure catastrophic health expenditure, leading to worsened rate of poverty.
More than 70% of the Nigerian population are not enrolled in the National Health Insurance Scheme, making it difficult for the average poor Nigerians to access adequate health service delivery. A lot of people who are sick and being treated in the hospitals, are living in penury and find it hard to cope with the exorbitant bills while many have died as a result of lack of money for medical services.
With the funds that would be raised from this microproject, we will support 20 patients across some of the hospitals in Anambra State, to pay their hospital bills.
These people will become healthy again after paying their hospital bills and receiving the required treatment that they need.
